This program trains students to act as mediators for other students. It provides an opportunity to address issues that cause conflict and help to prevent future conflicts from occurring by addressing the problem and attempting to have the combatants resolve it. Conflict Mediation on the secondary school level is facilitated through peer counseling in the majority of middle and high schools. All secondary schools have a program in place. In the elementary schools, it is done on a voluntary basis, with schools that elect to have the program.Get Acrobat
