Dating Abuse Prevention Training Modules
The School Board of Broward County, Florida, (SBBC) is committed to protecting its students from dating violence and/or abuse by students. SBBC believes all students are entitled to a safe, equitable and harassment-free school experience. Consistent with the intent and requirements of Section 1006.148, Florida Statutes, SBBC upholds dating violence and/or abuse will not be tolerated and shall be grounds for disciplinary action. This Policy shall be interpreted and applied consistently with all applicable State and Federal laws and Board policies. Conduct that constitutes dating violence or abuse, as defined herein is prohibited. Read Policy 5010, SBBC Policy Against Dating Violence or Abuse in its entirety.![]()

Staff Dating Violence Prevention Training Module: be sure to meet the requirements of SBBC Policy 5010 Against Dating Violence and Abuse by clicking the icon.
You will then log on to Brainshark with your individual ID, view the training module, and upon its completion receive a certificate that you have met your yearly requirement.
Student Dating Violence Prevention Training Module Grades 7-12: teachers or administrators wishing to provide their students with the yearly requirements of SBBC Policy 5010 Against Dating Violence and Abuse may do so by clicking the icon. You will then log onto Brainshark with your individual staff ID and have the students view the training module.
