The Olweus Bullying Prevention Program (OBPP) is recognized by the Center for the Study and Prevention of Violence as one of only eleven Blueprints Model Programs and by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) as a Model Program-two of the highest honors a prevention program can attain. As part of the Broward County Public School’s efforts to keep our district safe, DPI has a Certified Olweus trainer. To learn more about your school becoming an Olweus school, contact DPI. To find out more about the Olweus program, please visit their website at: //www.clemson.edu/olweus/
The OBPP works very closely with a school for 3 years – enough time to effectively embed a culture of respect and safety amongst the staff and students.
