Get Real about Violence is a K-12, research-based prevention program that addresses a wide range of violent behavior in students-from bullying and verbal aggression at early grades through fighting and social exclusion at middle grades to relationship abuse and assaults that can occur in later grades. ‘Planting Seeds of Prevention’ Curriculum Book is a teaching tool and one stop shop for all your prevention needs. The prevention curriculum is organized into the 4 strands of prevention: Violence Prevention, Instructional Strategies, Health and Wellness, and Substance Abuse Prevention. Within each strand there are specialized lessons related to each area of prevention for both primary and secondary grades.

Dating Matters – This 60-minute, interactive training is designed to help educators, youth-serving organizations, and others working with teens to understand the risk factors and warning signs associated with teen dating violence.

Discovery Health curriculum  – Office of Prevention has purchased a site license for every school in the District and it has numerous lesson plans, videos and classroom activities. Access it via Broward County Public School’s BEEP Portal.
