Broward Schools offers many avenues for our community to promote mental health and wellness. Mental health includes our emotional, psychological, and social well-being. It affects how we think, feel, and act. It also helps determine how we handle stress, relate to others, and make choices. Mental health is important at every stage of life.  Although mental health problems can be common, help is available.  Research shows mental health problems can get better and many recover completely.  Attend one of the trainings below or contact our office for more information 754-321-1655.

Mental Health First Aid  (MHFA) trainings assist both adults and youth in need.  MHFA introduces participants to risk factors and warning signs of mental illnesses, builds understanding of its impact, and gives an overview of common supports.  There are two courses available – one for recognizing the warning signs in youth, the other in adults.  Learn more or attend one now!
